MASON GENERAL HOSPITAL & FAMILY OF CLINICS UNVEILS NEW NAME, LOGO AND MISSION, VISION AND VALUES STATEMENTS

Release Date: Nov 27, 2019

SHELTON, WA – Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics has enjoyed more than 50 years of success in serving our community and patients. The District has been expanding and changing to meet the growing and sophisticated health care needs of our patients and community. The grand opening of Mason Clinic is on the horizon in February 2020, and the District is in the midst of hiring 14 new providers to the community, eight of whom have already joined the health care team.

The move will bring all of the District’s clinics, with the exception of Hoodsport Family Clinic, into one building connected to Mason General Hospital. MGH Shelton Family Medicine and the Walk-In Clinic will be the first to move in February and March 2020. Together, all of the moves will create a smoother and more integrated experience for patients and will enhance collaboration among providers.

“The District’s name and associated logo should reflect that we are now a much different organization,” said CEO Eric C. Moll. “It is truly a new day for MGH&FC.”

Marking this new chapter, the District has unveiled a new name: Mason Health, a timeless and modern reflection of the organization. Mason General Hospital and Mason Clinic will retain their names.

The District has also rolled out a new mission statement, which was the former vision statement: United Community, Empowered People, Exceptional Health.

“As an organization we will continue to focus on bringing our community together by empowering our staff and empowering our patients to achieve their best health,” Moll said. “This is core to everything that we do as an organization.”

The District’s new vision statement is to provide the best patient-centered care in the Pacific Northwest, and the new values are Service and Relationships.

“We want to continue to be recognized as a leader in the health care sector both locally and regionally,” Moll continued. “We all strive to serve our patients and make their experience with us the absolute best it can be. Our new vision statement and values reflect this philosophy and culture.”
