MGH&FC offers community 'First Aid/CPR/AED' course in March

SHELTON, Wash. – Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics empowers people to be ‘first responders’ in a medical emergency. You can be of great value to the community by learning basic lifesaving skills to assist in an emergency before the EMT arrives. MGH&FC’s next First Aid/CPR/AED course will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 5 to 9 p.m. at MGH&FC’s Learning Center, located in Shelton’s Gateway Center on Olympic Highway North.

The basics of First Aid, CPR and AED training will be covered in response to emergencies with adults, children and infants, and an eCard can be made available to students at their successful completion. A fee of $40 (exact cash or check) is required in advance to cover the cost of books and materials, and comfortable clothing is suggested for all participants. The course is open to the entire community and a Spanish interpreter can be made available if needed.

Registration is recommended in advance, at least ten days prior to the class, by calling the Learning Center at (360) 427-3609.
