"Living Well With Diabetes" Class at MGH in November

End the year right – and get ready for the holidays – by learning how to keep your diabetes under control, and keep it well-managed for life! Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics presents “Living Well with Diabetes” – a two-day class in diabetes self-management for persons newly diagnosed with diabetes to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7 and 8, 2017 from 12:30 – 4:30  p.m. in the Pershing Meeting Room at Mason General Hospital.

MGH&FC has a team of Diabetes Wellness professionals who teach the class, covering everything about diabetes – from diagnosis, to medications, meal planning, exercise, prevention and treatment of complications, stress management, living well, and engaging support people and a health care team. Their expert guidance in managing diabetes aims to help patients and families enjoy normal, healthy living.

As space for the class is limited, registration is required in advance by calling Debbie McGinnis, R.N., certified diabetes educator, at (360) 427-7332.  Diabetes education is a covered service under most insurance plans.
