"Life Review: Looking back in moving forward" - Topic for Cancer Wellness workshop in July at MGH

Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics, in partnership with Harmony Hill Retreat Center, offers a series of Cancer Wellness Workshops for anyone who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis.

     SHELTON, Wash. –  Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics, in partnership with Harmony Hill Retreat Center, offers a series of Cancer Wellness Workshops for anyone who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis.  The next workshop entitled “Life Review – Looking Back in Moving Forward” takes place on Wednesday, July 11 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the Pershing Meeting Room at MGH.

     Hosted by MGH&FC and facilitated by Harmony Hill faculty member Melissa Layer, the July workshop focuses on ‘reminiscence’ that can reveal surprising insight, resilience and guidance.  The Cancer Wellness Program presents a variety of themes to help build confidence, emotional strength and coping strategies to help individuals feel a sense of control in their lives.
