Community 'First Aid/CPR/AED' Course offered by MGH&FC in November

This four-hour evening course covers the basics of applying First Aid, CPR and AED to adults, children and infants before the EMT arrives.

SHELTON, Wash. – The holiday season, with its increase in social gatherings, presents a rise in the potential for accidents and medical emergencies. You can be a valued part of our community by knowing how to immediately respond in a medical crisis.  Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics empowers people to act, and is offering another community First Aid/CPR/AED course on Thursday, November 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. at MGH&FC’s Learning Center, located next to McDonald’s on Olympic Highway North.

This four-hour evening course covers the basics of applying First Aid, CPR and AED to adults, children and infants before the EMT arrives. A fee of $40 (exact cash or check) is required in advance to cover the cost of books and materials, and an eCard can be provided upon successful completion of the course.  Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and a Spanish interpreter can be made available upon request.
