SHELTON, Wash. – Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics and Harmony Hill Retreat Center have been offering a series of Cancer Wellness Workshops that meet every second Wednesday of the month at Mason General Hospital for cancer patients and survivors, their companions and caregivers.  The final workshop in this year’s series, “Closing Circle: Honoring the Journey, Celebrating the Gifts” will be on Wednesday, August 8 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the Pershing Meeting Room at MGH.

Hosted by Mason General Hospital, Harmony Hill faculty member Melissa Layer will lead the closing workshop to review and affirm our 12-month journey that began in September of 2017.  The Cancer Wellness Program’s monthly workshops help build confidence, emotional strength and coping strategies for individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis.
