About Mason Clinic - Women's Health

Our caring and compassionate team of professionals provide treatment for women of all ages with gynecological and obstetrical needs, including general obstetrical care, well-woman care, family planning, peri-menopausal/menopausal care, gynecological surgery, treatment for urinary incontinence and UTIs, and infertility services.

Mason Clinic Women’s Health is affiliated with The Birth Center at Mason General Hospital and Pediatrics services at Mason Clinic for a seamless continuity of care. Gynecological procedures are also performed in the Surgery Department at MGH, bringing together every aspect of care with close-to-home convenience.

Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment is important in addressing your healthcare needs. Please notify Mason Health as soon as you know you will need to change or cancel your appointment. You are required to cancel your appointment at least one business day prior to your scheduled appointment because of high patient demands. Your ability to schedule future appointments will change because of missed appointments or cancellations.

Samar Hassouneh, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women's Health

Dr. Hassouneh is a board-certified OB/GYN physician who started her educational career at the University of Washington and earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She joins Mason Health in October 2023 and enjoys caring for women of all ages, and being a partner in their health and life journey as they navigate challenges of menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause among many other women’s health issues.

Carley A Jacobs, PA-C
Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women's Health

Carley’s experience is mainly in primary care rural medicine, and she has a particular interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. She and her husband are both originally from Washington State, and have relocated back to the West Coast where they enjoy the rural setting.

Andrea Martin, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women's Health

Dr. Martin completed medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency from the West Virginia University School of Medicine.

Alisha Wedding-Lambert, CNM
Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women's Health

Certified Nurse Midwife Alisha Wedding-Lambert joins Mason Health in January 2023. Wedding-Lambert became a registered nurse and became a board-certified nurse midwife after graduating from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 2019. She is excited to bring midwifery to Mason Health.
