Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment is important in addressing your healthcare needs. Please notify MGH&FC as soon as you know you will need to change or cancel your appointment. You are required to cancel your appointment at least one business day prior to your scheduled appointment because of high patient demands. Your ability to schedule future appointments will change because of missed appointments or cancellations.

Darren Cuevas, D.O.
Family Practice

Dr. Darren Cuevas joined MGH&FC in September of 2018. He received his D.O. training at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona and completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital, University of Minnesota in St. Paul. He enjoys practicing patient-focused holistic medicine. He is excited to be living and working in the Pacific Northwest.

Timothy J. Weber, M.D.
Family Practice

Dr. Weber chose family practice because he enjoys the variety, and prefers treating the whole person. He came to Shelton in 1977 and joined Dr. Bruce Pederson in opening their practice – Shelton Family Medicine.

A. Michael Keep, M.D.
Family Practice

A. Michael Keep, M.D. has joined the medical staff at MGH Shelton Family Medicine and Mason General Hospital. He started seeing patients in mid-September 2010 and offers a broad spectrum of medical services to his patients.

Douglas Dightman, M.D.
Family Practice

Dr. Dightman enjoys working with patients by helping them maintain and achieve good health, with the understanding that health means different things to different people.

Andrew Kwon, M.D.
Family Practice

Andrew Kwon, MD, officially joined the District in July. Dr. Kwon received his medical degree from the University of Korea, College of Medicine in 1991, and completed his internship and residency in 1997 at Mid-Hudson Valley Family Practice Residency in New York, NY. He is board certified under the American Board of Family Practice.

Katrina Stringer, ARNP
Family Practice

Board certified with special interests ranging from cough and cold symptoms to heart disease. Katrina believes in getting to know her patients and their families and wants all of them to feel comfortable and confident in her care.

Resa Shaner, PA-C
Family Practice

Resa Shaner completed her Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University, Downer’s Grove, IL. She is a board-certified Physician's Assistant in Family Medicine.

James Stauffer, PA-C
Family Practice

James Stauffer received his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID in August, 2015. He is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Anthony Gordon, PA-C
Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic

Anthony Gordon received his degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine at MEDEX Northwest, in 2016. He is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA).

M. Hillary Underwood, PA-C
Family Practice

Margot Hillary Underwood received her Degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, in 1995. She is board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Hillary has nearly twenty years experience as a physician assitant, with a background in both outpatient and inpatient medical services.

Amber Carlson, LICSW
Clinical Social Worker

Amber Carlson joined the staff at Shelton Family Medicine in January 2016. Prior to that she had worked as a clinical social worker at a local hospital in Kitsap County since 2010. Amber was born and raised in Snohomish County, Washington and has always considered the Pacific Northwest home. Amber worked in case management and inpatient hospital work since 2008, having worked at a regional trauma center in Honolulu, Hawaii while stationed there with her husband.
