**The laboratory at MGH Shelton Family Medicine is closed at this time. Lab work may be completed at Mason General Hospital or the MGH Lab Draw Station on Professional Way.**

Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment is important in addressing your healthcare needs. Please notify MGH&FC as soon as you know you will need to change or cancel your appointment. You are required to cancel your appointment at least one business day prior to your scheduled appointment because of high patient demands. Your ability to schedule future appointments will change because of missed appointments or cancellations.

Darren Cuevas, D.O.
Family Practice

Dr. Darren Cuevas joined Mason Health in September of 2018. He received his D.O. training at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona and completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital, University of Minnesota in St. Paul. He enjoys practicing patient-focused holistic medicine. He is excited to be living and working in the Pacific Northwest.

Andrew Kwon, M.D.
Family Practice

Andrew Kwon, MD, officially joined the District in July. Dr. Kwon received his medical degree from the University of Korea, College of Medicine in 1991, and completed his internship and residency in 1997 at Mid-Hudson Valley Family Practice Residency in New York, NY. He is board certified under the American Board of Family Practice.

Katrina Stringer, ARNP
Family Practice

Board certified with special interests ranging from cough and cold symptoms to heart disease. Katrina believes in getting to know her patients and their families and wants all of them to feel comfortable and confident in her care.

Resa L Shaner, PA-C
Family Practice

Resa Shaner completed her Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University, Downer’s Grove, IL. She is a board-certified Physician's Assistant in Family Medicine.

James Stauffer, PA-C
Family Practice

James Stauffer received his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID in August, 2015. He is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Anthony Gordon, PA-C
Family Practice

Anthony Gordon received his degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine at MEDEX Northwest, in 2016. He is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA).

M. Hillary Underwood, PA-C
Family Practice

Margot Hillary Underwood received her Degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, in 1995. She is board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Hillary has nearly twenty years experience as a physician assitant, with a background in both outpatient and inpatient medical services.

Amber Carlson, LICSW
Clinical Social Worker

Amber Carlson joined the staff at Shelton Family Medicine in January 2016. Prior to that she had worked as a clinical social worker at a local hospital in Kitsap County since 2010. Amber was born and raised in Snohomish County, Washington and has always considered the Pacific Northwest home.

Michelle Hamilton, D.O.
Family Practice

Welcome to the community, Dr. Hamilton! Michelle Hamilton, D.O., joined the medical staff at MGH Shelton Family Medicine and Orthopedics in 2019 in Family Medicine services and is accepting new patients now. She is passionate about working with families to combine the individual’s personal health philosophy with evidence-informed medicine.

David E. Anderson, M.D.
Internal Medicine

Welcome Dr. Anderson, M.D., to the community full-time in October! He is accepting new patients. Dr. Anderson joined MGH Shelton Family Medicine full-time in 2019. He is board-certified in internal medicine and has served 20 years in the U.S. military, including tours in Iraq, Korea and Africa. He takes great pride in serving this rural community.

Katie Aldrich, PMHNP-BC

Welcome to the community, Katie Aldrich! She will be accepting new patients in January. Katie Aldrich, PMHNP-BC, earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program, from Gonzaga University in 2019. Aldrich enjoys caring for individuals across the lifespan and believes in working with her patients to assist individuals to attain their highest level of whole body health: mind, body, and spirit.

Vanessa Cray, PMHNP-BC

Welcome to the community, Vanessa Cray! She will be accepting new patients January 2020. Vanessa Cray, PMHNP-BC, earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, from Gonzaga University in 2019. Cray is drawn to the philosophy of patient-centered care, incorporating the patient’s personal ideals and cultural understanding into the focus of their own treatment.
