MGH&FC Presents Cmmunity 'First Aid/CPR/AED' Course in December

SHELTON, Wash. – The holidays are a time for friends gathering in celebration, and unfortunately, a time for accidents that bring higher numbers into the emergency room.  You can be of great value to the community by having training in first response to a medical emergency!  Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics urges everyone to learn basic lifesaving skills, and is offering another community First Aid/CPR/AED course on Thursday, December 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. at MGH&FC’s Learning Center, located next to the Gateway Center on Olympic Highway North.

The basics of first Aid, CPR and AED to adults, children and infants will be covered in a four-hour evening class, with an eCard made available at the successful completion of the course.  A fee of $40 (exact cash or check) is required in advance to cover the cost of books and materials, and comfortable clothing is suggested for all participants. A Spanish interpreter can also be made available upon request.
