Scott Hilburn

Scott Hilburn is a Trustee of Mason General Hospital’s Board of Hospital Commissioners. Scott owned and operated the local Ford/Chrysler auto dealership from 1978 to 2003. While owning the business Scott earned Ford Motor Company’s highest dealer achievement award 14 times.

Scott has served his community thru participation on Shelton Chamber of Commerce, President of Mason County Inter-Governmental Council, President of Shelton Kiwanis Club, Elder at the Shelton Presbyterian Church, 1984 Mason County Citizen of the year, Mayor City of Shelton, and is currently serving as a Hospital Commissioner of Public Hospital District (PHD) No. 1.

Scott continues to support healthcare issues by serving on the Washington State Hospital Association and the American Hospital Association Governance Boards. Mr. Hilburn is also an active member of several committees for MGH&FC and they include: Marketing, Physician Recruitment, Community Health, Quality Improvement Council, Chair Mason County Health Board , Chair of PHD No. 1 Board of Commissioners and Chair of the Joint PHD Meetings.

He is married to Karen Hilburn, Founder of the Karen Hilburn Cancer Fund, a Chapter of Mason General Hospital Foundation. Together, they have 5 sons and 8 grandchildren.
