Services Available to Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics Patients:
- Interpretation services at Hospital and Clinic visits
- Cultural Mediation: Facilitating clinical encounters that involve cultural differences
- Teaching patients how to navigate the healthcare system
- Helping patients to access the Hospital Program for Uncompensated Care
- Advocating for patients
- Promoting the continuity of followup care
- Assisting with forms and applications

Services Available to Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics Providers:
- Interpretation
- Cultural Mediation: Facilitating clinical encounters that involve cultural differences
- Cultural Consultation: Consulting on cultural issues affecting the care of a particular patient
- Providing Spanish classes for healthcare providers
- Educating clinical staff on how to work with interpreters
- Providing cultural information about a variety of topics including:
- Health beliefs
- Traditional health practices
- Explaining diagnoses to patients
Services Available to Communities:
- Working with the communities to identify and remove barriers to healthcare at Mason General & Family of Clinics and in the wider community
- Responding to requests for education about diabetes, asthma, depression, and other topics
- Providing medical interpreter training once a year that is free and open to all community members who are bilingual in Spanish and English
