GREETINGS FROM THE CO-CHAIRS!
Fantasy Forest is twelve years old and
we, Co-chairs Sara Watkins and Sue
Patterson, are thrilled
to extend a warm invitation to everyone to all of our events,
open houses, activities and shops. The ongoing success of Fantasy Forest is credited
to our hospital employees, volunteers and tree designers, without
whose commitment we would be lost. Also critical to our
success is the support of our sponsors and underwriters. You
can find out who they are elsewhere in this insert.
Several changes are occurring this year. One of the
key factors in bringing our festival to life is having spectacular
site decorations, and this year we believe we have hit the
mark. Credit goes to HIAWATHA EVERGREENS and OAKLAND
BAY NURSERY for their extremely kind and generous donations. Under
the direction of Stephanie White, our site will celebrate the
lavish beauty of our abundant Western Washington and alpine
resources. You won’t want to miss it!
We’ve moved our Gift Shops into a large room together
and will focus on two themes. The new area will feature our
traditional gift shop, including the kids’, and Holiday
Accents, which will focus on wreaths, centerpieces, two-foot
trees and fun holiday decorating items.
We have a new event on Wednesday evening
called the “Apple
Cup Fantasy” which will use the well-known cross-state
college rivalry to forge team spirit with food, games and prizes. It
will be a fun and casual evening open to everyone, so wear
your favorite team colors and get in on the excitement!
Also this year, we have expanded our
table seating space, which means more tickets will be available
for each event. Be
sure to check the schedule of events in this insert to find
the one that is perfect for you and your family.
We look forward to seeing you! Please “save the dates” and
visit us in our opulent and magical wonderland of trees.
And
Happy Holidays to All! Sue Patterson and Sara
Watkins
Thank you… To the many hard working volunteers,
staff, administration, sponsors, donors, physicians and community
for supporting 2007 Fantasy Forest. We couldn’t do it without
you!
