Part time (.9), day/evening shift, Monday – Friday, may float to other clinics. Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program. PRN - scheduled (.4), day shift, any days of the week including call. Expected to function independently in all areas of OPS. Training to include pre-admit clinic, pre and post-surgical care, as well as recovery room and procedural sedation. Experienced preferred. Must have current WA State RN license & BLS.

Pharmacy


Clinical Pharmacist

PRN, Clinical Pharmacist for variable days/evenings (evenings end at 7:30 pm) and weekends. You will be providing inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services in a rapidly progressing critical access hospital with excellent professional growth opportunities.

Job responsibilities Include: Interpret and evaluate physician’s medication orders; utilize medication protocols to ensure ideal pharmacotherapeutic options; ensure appropriate ordering, preparation, packaging, delivery, storage, and monitoring of medications; manage pharmacy support personnel and pharmacy work areas; ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory standards as well as the values of the department, institution, and profession; provide education and advice to clinical staff and patients.

Requirements: A PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a minimum of three to five years of hospital experience or residency, will also be considered. Current Washington State pharmacist license, or eligibility for licensure, by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy; knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices, and all aspects of institutional pharmacy drug distribution; knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices (i.e. patient assessment, kinetic dosing, anticoagulation management, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with providers), are required.
