Position includes staff coaching, mentoring, scheduling, evaluations, clinical competencies plus approximately two staff nurse shifts per month to keep up skill level. ED experience, ACLS, PALS and TNCC required, ICCU, management and Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Pharmacy


Clinical Pharmacist

Full Time

Days & evenings, evenings end at 7:30pm, some weekends. You will be providing pharmacy services in a rapidly progressing critical access hospital with excellent professional growth opportunities. Job responsibilities include: Interprets and evaluates physician’s medication orders, ensures appropriate preparation, packaging, delivery, storage, and monitoring of prescribed medications, manages pharmacy support personnel and pharmacy work areas, ensures compliance with established policies, standards, practices, and values of the department, institution, and profession, educates, advises, consults and trains patients, patient’s families, health care professionals and staff, effectively communication, customer service, and computer skills are all essential.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from a college or university accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience, or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is required. Current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy, knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices of pharmacology and therapeutics, knowledge of all aspects of institutional pharmacy drug distribution, knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices (i.e. patient assessment, kinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, etc.) is required. Completion of a pharmacy residency program or equivalent practice experience in an integrated health care system, which includes an acute care hospital, or equivalent, certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, and working knowledge of Meditech Computer System is preferred.

Respiratory Therapy

Day shift with call. General, OBGYN, Podiatry, Orthopedic, Eye, Bariatric surgeries performed, experience required. ACLS, PALS, flexibility, reliability and self motivation required. Current WA state RN license.

Central Registration


Admitting/Switchboard Supervisor

Full Time

Position oversees the daily operations of these areas. Maintains staffing schedule, hires, initial and ongoing training, evaluates, disciplines, coaching and education of staff. Maintains policy and procedure manual of Admitting and switchboard. Works as a staff person as needed. Will work occasional hours other than days and occasional weekend hours to evaluate quality of work on other shifts and to communicate with staff. Excellent computer skills, and supervision experience required. Medical insurance knowledge preferred.

Oakland Bay Pediatrics


Receptionist

PRN

Day shift to float to all clinics. Front office skills, computer experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Spanish speaking ability, medical terminology, and prior medical clinic experience preferred.

Volunteer Coordinator


Part Time

M-F, days. Key position, representing the Hospital within the community, educating the youth in opportunities within healthcare, and managing the senior volunteer effort within our hospital.  This includes recruitment, orientation, training, volunteer evaluations, polices, job descriptions, scheduling and preparing a monthly newsletter.  Excellent oral and written communications skills. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word, the ability to work well with people, and a strong desire to provide quality customer service required.
