Clinical Positions

Surgery


RN

PRN

PRN, day shift with call. BLS and PALS required. Must have worked as primary circulating RN in hospital based operating room within the past year. Surgical specialties included, gen, gyn/OB, orthopedic, podiatry and ophthalmic. Procedures examples include laparoscopic and open colon resections, ventral hernia, hysterectomy, fracture management, total hips and knees, cataract extraction and C-sections.

 

Laboratory


Lab Assistant

PRN

PRN, shift of greatest need, all days of the week. Duties include: specimen collection for patients of all ages; specimen processing; sample distribution and client service activities. Phlebotomy experience or training required. Familiarity with Laboratory Information System a plus. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to work day, eve and night shifts.

Unscheduled PRN, shift of greatest need, all days of the week. 1 year labor and delivery experience required; additional postpartum and newborn experience preferred. Must have current WA state RN license, BCLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation.

 

Pharmacy


Clinical Pharmacist

PRN Clinical Pharmacist for variable days/evenings (evenings end at 7:30 pm) and  weekends.  You will be providing pharmacy services in a rapidly progressing critical access hospital with excellent professional growth opportunities.

Job responsibilities Include:  Interpret and evaluate physician’s medication orders; ensure appropriate ordering, preparation, packaging, delivery, storage, and monitoring of medications; manage pharmacy support personnel and pharmacy work areas; ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory standards as well as the values of the department, institution, and profession; provide education and advice to patients, patient’s families, providers, and other staff members.

Requirements:  A PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy is preferred.  A  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a minimum of three to five years of hospital experience, will also be considered.  Current Washington State pharmacist license, or eligibility for licensure, by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy; knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices, and all aspects of institutional pharmacy drug distribution; knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices (i.e. patient assessment, kinetic dosing, anticoagulation management, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with providers), are required.

Rural Health and Provider Based Billing experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Medicaid programs and Provider One. Patient Accounts and Data Processing coverage, as needed. Excellent attendance is required Full Time Position - Monday thru Friday, 9a-5:30p

PRN, shift of greatest need, all days of the week. Excellent, effective communication and public relations skills essential. Able to type accurately and familiar with keyboard is essential; prior experience with computers necessary. Comprehension of medical terminology required, working knowledge of ICD-9 diagnosis codes very helpful. Must be self-motivated, dependable, cooperative and very well organized. Able to work independently and productively and under stressful conditions. Should be a team worker and respect all other co-workers. Display a positive attitude and friendly manner and have the ability to deal with all types of people/patients with various degrees of injuries or illness. High school diploma or equivalent.
