 Childbirth Education
A childbirth class is a great way to prepare for labor and birth.
MGH offers classes throughout the year.
The class includes six weekly sessions
and consists of lectures and exercises led by a trained childbirth
instructor. The goal is to provide you with
information to minimize your fears and help you make informed decisions,
and teach you techniques to help you relax and cope.
Classes cover:
Classes also cover the basics of breastfeeding and
immediate newborn care. Classes also discuss certain childbirth
complications and how they might be handled. The classes show videos
of both a vaginal birth and a c-section. Finally, these classes are
also a great opportunity to meet other expectant parents.
Join us for six weekly sessions. Cost is $60 plus $2 for book.

Sibling Class
A sibling class is a great way to prepare
your family for the birth. MGH offers classes throughout the year.
